Creating 3D maps
CAFA Tech has produced large scale 3D Maps from LIDAR datasets.
CAFA Tech has experience in producing 3D maps of European countries. According to LIDAR data of Land agencies of different countries. Land Board´s LIDAR datasets cover whole country (in the USA biggest cities).
3D maps can also be successfully created from photos taken by drones. By 2020, the measurement accuracy has reached about 5cm. It is also possible to carry out separate LIDAR measurements.
Very good LIDAR data are available in the Europe for example Estonia, United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Poland.
Tartu 3D map (the 2nd biggest city in Estonia). The map was created using LIDAR data from the Estonian Land Board and processed by CAFA 3D algorithms. The total area is 100km2
